Born in the Middle East, Azo has predominantly been living in the West Country since 2002. Before opening his salon in Ashburton, Azo worked in barbershops in Glasgow and Exeter. On moving to neighbouring Buckfastleigh, Azo was impressed with the creativity within the local community and saw the potential for a barbershop which offered traditional shaves alongside more modern haircuts.

His reputation as an excellent barber has grown so that he now has clients who come from neighbouring towns and cities to Ashburton for their cuts.
